I had not been to the dentist in five years because of a terrible experience. They were rough. I was so worried because every single dental experience was a terrible one and then I went to Dr. Martin. I did not know there was a dentist like him anywhere. It was amazing. I had been experiencing pain on my left side when eating or drinking hot, cold, or sugar. I assumed I had a cavity. At my appointment, Dr. Martin took an x-ray and did a very thorough exam and asked lots of questions to determine which tooth was giving me the issues. Instead of filling a cavity, he did the least invasive and inexpensive option and put a composite over the tooth then filed it down so my bite was even. He explained that our teeth move over time and my bite on that tooth was uneven which caused me to damage the ligaments and that was causing the pain. He said it will take several months to fully heal but the pain is gone by 90% and I can now eat and drink on the left side of my mouth. Dr. Alan was very attentive and his entire staff was very friendly and helpful.

During my six month cleaning I asked about a cancer screening since I had two cousins with tongue cancer. That day Dr. Martin was out for continuing education and the hygienist said he would have to do this. They scheduled me for another appointment a week later. I went this morning and didn't wait long at all. The staff is courteous and friendly also. Dr. Martin did the quick exam and gave me a good report. A good reassurance that I'm OK. Dr. Martin also explained the symptoms to watch for. Great visit!!

i have been on pain mgmt for 18 years due to chronic tmjd. After braces, upper/lower jaw surgery, jaw joint injections, loose screw removals, ....visiting a hygenist or dentist was a tramatic experience. Like many others i was very skeptical about Dr. Hulls replacement. After meeting Dr. Martin and having several teeth extracted, im convinced that Dr. Hull made an excellent choice. He and his assistants went out of their way to make my visits pain free. One of the assistants took extra time matching my tooth color, even asking for second opinions. Dr. Martin scheduled the appts where i would not have to be without teeth.i would definitely refer anyone .because of the kindness and care.

Before I made my appointment with Waco Dental, I haven't been to a dentist in two years because I was scared and embarrassed. I was scared because the last dental office I went to pulled a tooth while I wasn't all the way numb. Everything about Waco Dental and the staff there was great. Today I had my teeth cleaned at Dr. Martin’s. The hygienist, Jodi, was professional and thorough and went above and beyond to explain what the best home care was - from flossing to mechanical toothbrush vs SoniCare to the best toothpaste. Unbelievable. Dr. Martin came in to say hello and look over my teeth and make sure that the root canal he had done a month earlier was healing correctly. Can you believe that?!?? I have been going to the dentist since I was 4 - I’ll be 60 this month - I have never, ever had a dentist or dental staff treat me like this. The services they given are impeccable and you know what the best part is? THEY GENUINELY CARE. Kim and Andrea who work in the front office are kind and patient; they work with you on payments and are always available. I have just never seen anything like it. My husband is a patient, also, and I will be referring everyone who listens to go and see Dr. Martin. God bless these wonderful people; I am so thankful for them.

I had a crown put on last week. I was so nervous because the last one was painful. I went in before work and Dr.Martin recommended I have no numbing. He did such a fabulous job before on my root canal I agreed. And you know what?!? He took the temporary crown off and put the new crown on and IT DID NOT HURT AT ALL. God answers prayer and this was a big one! This man has the touch of an angel. My husband is his patient -and his friend - and we are so blessed by him. Thank you, Dr. Martin. God bless you always.
